Rapha + Palace

Fashion faux pas or l’alta moda? Like it or loathe it, pro cycling style in the 80s and 90s was an anything-goes wonderland of garish graphics, vibrant colours, and unlikely sponsorships. So as part of our Rapha20 and Past Forward celebrations, we’ve partnered with skateboarding pioneers Palace for a limited edition collection that honours some of the era’s most memorable looks. A selection of heritage Rapha silhouettes have been injected with Palace’s signature irreverence, with playful inversions of cycling’s distinctive language, colours, and sponsors. Once again, our most disruptive collaborators help us look to the future – reimagining classic cycling style with post-modern panache. 

From the streets of London to the heights of the Dolomites, our first collaboration with Palace shook the 2020 Giro d’Italia. Offering a truly fresh perspective on the sport, we kitted EF out in a switch out for the ages. Combining influences from early noughties club culture and video games with a flamboyant colour palette, Palace’s designs raised eyebrows in the peloton and far beyond.

High speed and high stakes, big risks and bigger rewards. In a seminal moment for our sport, we celebrated the first women’s Tour de France since the 80s with a limited edition switch-out kit for the riders of both EF Education-TIBCO-SVB and EF Education-EasyPost. Partnering once again with Palace, we celebrated the madness and the majesty of the world’s most famous bike race with a Tour de Force.

Rapha Cycling Club members will receive an exclusive early access email on Tuesday 8 October. 

General access will open on Wednesday 9 via a ballot to ensure maximum fairness of access. You must sign up to the ballot to access the collection. 

We’ll also be stocking limited quantities in our London Clubhouse, available on a first come, first served basis from 8am on Wednesday 9 October.
