ROXSOLT LIV SRAM

Supporting difference and embracing imperfection with Australia’s only UCI Women’s Continental team.

In a peloton full of riders whose careers often follow a similar script, the Roxsolt Liv SRAM team stands out. From late comers to the sport to comeback queens and full-time mothers, this is a team of extraordinary women who’ve followed their own unique paths to the top.

And while those paths might not be the simplest, they’ve given each rider on the roster an inner strength and resilience that comes to the fore on race day. Roxsolt Liv SRAM riders are taught to roll with the punches, to embrace imperfection and to find strength in each other’s unique stories.

Led by Nicole Frain, Peta Mullens and Emily Herfoss, they are the only UCI Women’s Continental team registered in Australia. And with national champions on the roster and National Road Series team category titles for two of the last three years, the team is a force. But with riders also raising families, studying for degrees and pursuing successful careers off the bike, there’s always a broader perspective.

The team’s kit celebrates the Japanese art of kintsugi – repairing pottery with powdered precious metals. By mixing lacquer with gold, traditional craftsmen bind fractured shards back together to create a patchwork imperfection that is stronger than the original.

The design encapsulates the team’s approach to cycling and to life. Setbacks are part of life but by making a virtue of our cracks and celebrating our scars, we can build back stronger than before. Look out for Roxsolt Liv SRAM in 2022 as they compete across Australia and at some UCI races in Europe and the US.

“Every year Roxsolt grows as a team; not in size, but in culture. We bring together a group of women who share the same basic passion for pedalling circles and put a twist on it. We send our road riders to the dirt and our MTB’ers to the tarmac and watch them fall in love with cycling all over again.”

– Peta Mullens
