Rapha Black Friday Ride

Taking to the roads, trails, and singletrack once more to support World Bicycle Relief and its Communities on the Move programme.

18 November 2022

In the past two years, more than 300,000 cyclists have taken part in the Black Friday ride, covering over 4,000,000 kilometres on their bikes while championing the work of World Bicycle Relief and its mission to transform communities through riding.

Join us on Friday 25th November to show your support.

We’re hosting Black Friday Rides in cities across the world, and at every Rapha Clubhouse. Use the links below to sign up to a ride near you, and don’t forget to share your ride on social by tagging @rapha and using #raphablackfridayride on your posts and stories.

Since 2020, the funds raised through our Black Friday Ride have supported World Bicycle Relief’s Communities on the Move project and its vital work in Kasungu, Malawi. In a region where affordable transportation options are largely unavailable, the bicycle has the power to transform lives. It can help students reach education and opportunities. It can help health workers reach patients in need of life-saving care. And it can help farmers reach markets and increase their income.

With three annual investments of $150,000 from the Rapha Foundation, World Bicycle Relief’s Communities on the Move is significantly increasing local people’s mobility and, in turn, helping them come together and chart a new path forward.

All of our grantees know the impact a helping hand can have in underserved cycling communities.
