Before they knew it, it was time for lunch. They laid down their chequered blanket and unpacked the delights they had prepared. There was cheese and wine, cakes and fresh berries. Spying a secluded beach across the lake, they made their way to its crystal clear waters and cooled off in the shallows as the sun slowly began to dip in the sky.
