Leadership
Dan Blumire – Co-Managing Director
Daniel joined Rapha in 2014, and was previously Rapha's Chief Product & Commercial Officer. Previously, Daniel worked in a number of large retail companies in the product & commercial world, including River Island, New Look & Topshop. A lover of outdoor sports, Daniel is kept busy with his four children who also love being outside and preferably on two wheels. Living in the Chilterns, Daniel loves to take advantage of quiet country roads and endless woodland trails. His current favourite bike is a Moots Routt RSL – “A thing of real beauty, I’m so proud to own it and feel so privileged to ride on it.”
“I’ve been lucky enough to ride all over the world, but my favourite was the Col du Soulor. Beautiful, quiet roads, stunning scenery, and on a day when I was probably the fittest I have ever been on a bike, magical.”
Francois Convercey – Co-managing Director
Francois joined Rapha in 2015, and was previously Rapha’s Chief Brand & Marketing Officer. Prior to joining Rapha, Francois worked across a number of marketing and business leadership roles within the consumer goods industry, having spent 12 years with L’Oreal, Mars and Procter & Gamble. When he’s not taking his 2 young children on a ride, Francois loves exploring the roads in the French Cevennes, where he fell in love with bike riding 30 years ago. He considers his favourite bike to be the next one. “There is always something special about the quest for your next bike, and the process that it involves. I am on the hunt for a vintage Look 396 track bike"
The Cevennes, in the South of France. “This is where I fell in love with road cycling as a kid. I spent most of my family holidays there. It is one of the most remote areas to ride in, but one that brings truly inspirational riding. The roads, the smell, the variety of terrain - everything brings me back to my childhood memories”.
Caroline Crosswell – Chief Operations Officer
Caroline has always worked in retail and joined Rapha from Burberry where she led the exponential growth of the Emerging Markets division until taking on a broader responsibility of business development and real estate across EMEA. She previously held Managing Director positions with Lola Rose and Neisha Crosland and lived in New York for several years. Caroline’s favourite bike is her current one, a Canyon Endurance. “The colours match my engagement ring perfectly and I am reliably told my bike will always out-peform my riding ability!”
“Relatively new to road cycling, my favourite rides are on Sunday mornings with my girlfriends across the New Forest and down to the Coast. The scenery is stunning and ever changing and catching up on local gossip and stories are of equal importance!”
Andy Berks – Chief Customer and Digital Officer
Andy joined Rapha in 2019 as Chief Digital Officer, responsible for the E-Commerce, Performance Marketing, Data & Insights, and Technology teams. His career has spanned travel at InterContinental and easyJet, sports marketing at Cricinfo.com, digital advertising at Google and fast fashion at ASOS. He just got a new bike - “Like any good kid with a new toy, I'm really enjoying the Canyon Grail gravel bike which I've just bought - I haven't put it through its paces properly yet but it's loads of fun to ride and I'm looking forward to trying it out on some varied terrain this year.”
Most of my riding is done in the country lanes of Hertfordshire but the most memorable trip I've ever done was across Cuba. I expected leisurely spins along the Caribbean coastline with regular Mojito breaks, but was rather surprised by some steep ascents. The tropical scenery was amazing, plus the locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout which made the experience really special.
Sean Clarke – Chief Finance Officer
Sean joined Rapha as Chief Financial Officer in October 2022. Prior experience includes over 20 years in retail in the UK, North America and Asia with responsibilities for finance, strategy, commercial, operations and real estate. Sean and his family live in rural Yorkshire where he rides a Trek Madone whenever he isn't running or walking the springer spaniel.
