En savoir plus sur le caféBerlin is a relaxed world city that offers cyclists ideal terrain in every direction. To the north lies the vast forest area of Barnim Nature Park, with countless lakes, river valleys and moors. To the west, the Grunewald beckons with Kronprinzessinnenweg ("Krone") and Havelchaussee, one of Berlin's most famous routes, as well as the 120-metre-high Teufelsberg. To the south, beyond Schönefeld Airport, a sprawling agricultural landscape opens up with tree-lined roads. To the east lies the lively Müggelsee with its lakeside beach, followed by the crisp hills of the Märkische Schweiz.
Rapha Berlin is located in Mitte, right in the heart of the city, in a district full of famous sights, great restaurants and fantastic shopping. All year round, we show live bike races on big screens and host numerous events, workshops and talks that everyone is welcome to join. In our café, you can fuel up with coffee and a few treats for the day ahead. The Clubhouse is also home to the Berlin chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) and a starting point for rides around the city.
Rising above the canopy of the Grunewald Forest in West Berlin, on a manmade hillock 120m above sea level, sits an abandoned Cold War listening station. Field Station Berlin Teufelsberg became one of the most important listening stations of the Cold War despite being anything but discreet. Today the derelict domes have become a floodlit landmark, and the 1km climb to the top offers a challenging focal point for any ride. The emblem of the Berlin chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club and its Clubhouse, Rapha Berlin, is based on the main dome, in dedication to Berlin’s own Mont Ventoux.
