RCC Summit Japan

21–24 May 2021

Summit Japan postponed

Join us in May 2021

To safeguard the health of all members and staff concerned, the RCC Summit Japan has been postponed. We hope you understand that in light of recent world events, it has become impossible to host such an event.

But all is not lost, we are pleased to announce that the Summit will be held in the same location, from the 21st - 24th May, 2021. All members confirmed to attend the Summit will have their places automatically transferred to next year’s rescheduled event.

Alternatively, if you would like a refund, or for any other query, please do not hesitate to contact the RCC team at rcc@rapha.cc.

How to get there

Our Summit hotel, the Royal Hotel Yatsugatake, is two to three hours west of Tokyo by road or rail. Tokyo has two main international airports: Haneda Airport – which is closer to the centre – and Narita Airport. The nearest train station to the Summit hotel is Kai Oizumi Station on the JR Koumi Line, one of Japan’s most scenic mountain railways. The nearest express train station is Kobuchizawa on the JR Chuo Express Line. Royal Hotel Yatsugatake provides a Free Shuttle Bus from the local station.

OUR HOTEL

Royal Hotel Yatsugatake will be our Summit hotel from 5th - 8th June 2020. Offering spacious bedrooms and function spaces, this traditionally Japanese hotel viewed as “retro” or “quirky” also offers the following benefits for you to enjoy during your Summit:

Japanese Onsen Experience
You can find both outdoor and indoor hot springs in Royal Hotel Yatsugatake. The indoor public bath is equipped with a sauna as well. Please note, tattoos must be covered.

Stargazing
Royal Hotel Yatsugatake is located in a mountainous land, with beautiful scenery. Since it has its own rooftop observatory, you can explore the stars from close-up.

Extending your Summit stay

Why not visit Rapha Tokyo and Rapha Osaka during your stay and join our local club rides? In addition to our regular rides programme, we will offer additional programming in the days before the Summit in central Tokyo – check the RCC App for more information.

Supplementary nights at our Summit hotel must be booked directly.

Summit Terms & Conditions of purchase

1. Once purchased, there is a 14-day cooling-off period, after which your place on the RCC Summit is non-refundable and non-transferable to an alternative Summit or any other Rapha products.

2. 30 day refund period cannot be offered on Summit places or associated transfer, bike hire products or additional programming tickets.

3. Transfer place to another member privately - up until 90 days prior to the event. Email RCC@rapha.cc

4. We recommend purchasing travel insurance at the point of your Summit purchase to cover yourself if you are unable to attend for personal, work or medical reasons.
