RCC at Roubaix

SIGN ON AND BAG DROP

The Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) will be at Roubaix from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th April, supporting members taking part in the infamous Paris-Roubaix Challenge on Saturday, and offering guided rides to watch the pros battle it out on the cobbles in the race proper on Sunday. Below are further details of the support and activities available.

PARIS-ROUBAIX CHALLENGE

SIGN ON AND BAG DROP

The Mobile Clubhouse will be at the Roubaix expo area on Friday 7th April from 2pm onwards, serving coffee and acting as a meeting place for all members signing on to the challenge. On Saturday, riders of the 172km route should gather in Busigny near the starting line at 7:30am, for an RCC departure at 8:00am.

Drop your bag either on Friday at the Mobile Clubhouse or at the support car on Saturday morning, then retrieve your bag after the challenge in the expo area where the Mobile Clubhouse crew will be waiting for you with snacks and drinks.

SUPPORT CAR AND PHOTOGRAPHY

The support car team will be providing water to refill your bidons and snacks during the ride on sections of the course it can access. Images of RCC members taking part in the challenge will be captured by a professional photographer throughout the ride. Please note: we are not providing mechanical assistance.

Contact your local RCC coordinator for more details about support at the Paris-Roubaix Challenge.

A SUNDAY IN HELL

RCC RIDE OUT TO WATCH THE PROS

On Sunday 9th April, meet Julien Verlay, RCC coordinator, at the velodrome on Avenue Maxence Van der Meersch at 10:45am for roll out at 11:00am. We’ll ride 20km to Camphin en Pévèle where the Mobile Clubhouse will be parked on the cobbles. Enjoy the race, some belgian beers, and a BBQ with fellow RCC members, and watch the action live on the Mobile Clubhouse’s screen.
