Palma has long been our home in the south, but Mallorca’s diverse heartlands deserve a second outpost we've headed north to Alcúdia: the historic gateway to the island's most legendary terrain. Long utilised as the definitive training base for the pro peloton, Alcúdia offers a different perspective on Mallorcan riding. From our new pop-up, you are perfectly positioned to tackle the jagged switchbacks of the Serra de Tramuntana, the lighthouse pilgrimage of Cap Formentor and the rolling, sun-drenched lanes of the quiet northern interior.

Whether stopping mid-ride or kitting up for an island loop, we look forward to seeing you at Rapha Mallorca’s second home.

The Sa Calobra climb is a 10km stretch of road that serves the eponymous fishing village at the foot of its pristine tarmac. Draped elegantly over the northwest corner of the island, it’s the testing ground for amateurs and pros alike, and with 26 hairpin turns and 668 metres of elevation, it’s as tough a climb as any. But to go up you must first go down - there being no other access to the foot of the climb besides boat. At one point, the road loops over itself, passing under and over a spiral bridge, and it’s this symbol that inspired the emblem for the Mallorca chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club and its Clubhouse, Rapha Mallorca.
