查看 café 咖啡座Rapha’s Tokyo Clubhouse is a well established destination for the city’s cyclists, occupying two floors of the Kito-Sando building. The location, just a few minutes walk from the high-fashion Omotesando and Harajuku districts, or a short bike ride from Shinjuku, Shibuya, and the 2020 summer Olympics road race venue, makes Rapha Tokyo an ideal rendezvous point for those heading out for a ride. Take in laps around the Imperial Palace, or head off on a trip along the long bike lane that runs adjacent to the Arakawa river. There are also plenty of climbs just outside the urban centre.
The Tokyo chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) runs regular outings from the Clubhouse, and events include live screenings of all major races, perfectly timed for after work drinks and meals with fellow fans. A full service café has a regionally unique food menu and drinks.
The metropolitan crest of Tokyo features a monsho, or emblem, used to identify or represent a person or a place. A crest showing the sun with six rays radiating away from its heart, it places Tokyo at the centre of Japan. But for us it also represents the arteries that draw cyclists away from the cacophony of the city and towards the tranquility that lies beyond the urban fringe. Fitting inspiration for the emblem of the Tokyo chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) and its Clubhouse, Rapha Tokyo.
